KINDNESS

Resim
As part of the kindness value, students wrote kind words on heart-shaped papers and shared them with their friends. Then, they said 'Good morning' in five different languages using the Genially platform.  After that, we performed kind and unkind behaviors from daily life using drama techniques and  listened to a song about kindness.   We played a game about kind and unkind behaviours via Wordwall tool, too. Finally, students  created a Kindness Flower with petals made up of kind actions from daily life.  (Fatih Primary School, Ece ERGÜRTUNA)

To raise awareness about a sense of responsibility, students were first presented with the digital story titled Coco and the Responsible Bird. Then, the students  were  asked  about the responsibilities they have in daily life and did a quick survey. After that, we played a game using a Web 2.0 tool to make the topic more fun and engaging. Finally, a  fun game was played to help students develop a sense of responsibility. They were given five minutes to organize and tidy up their desks and school materials before the time ran out. This allowed them to embrace responsibility in an engaging and enjoyable way.  (Fatih Primary School, Ece ERGÜRTUNA)

PRIVACY

Resim
First, we listed what we know about privacy and boundaries and had a discussion based on a presentation. Then, we listened to Mino's Song about the importance of saying no to other people.  To establish our personal boundaries, we completed a worksheet titled My Personal Bubble. Then, to reinforce the topic, we played  the "Waiting in Line" game to understand the importance of personal boundaries and privacy.  Through this activity, we understood the negative aspects of violating others' boundaries.  (Fatih Primary School, Ece ERGÜRTUNA)

LOVE

Resim
In order to make sense of love, students were first shown an animated movie on the theme of love and discussed the movie. Then, g ratitude cards were distributed to the students so that they could express their love for their loved ones, especially their families. They then filled in their own cards and shared them with the rest of the class.   Finally, they were asked to fill each heart with symbols and images of the things they love. The hearts were hung on the marked places on the Tree of Love and displayed on the class board.  (Fatih Primary School, Ece ERGÜRTUNA)

RESPECT

Resim
In order to recognize the value of respect, students first tried to find pictures about the theme of respect hidden in different parts of the classroom. If they answered the questions correctly, they selected a picture from the box and pasted it in the appropriate places on the board.
