To explore the meaning of freedom, we watched a short cartoon about a caged bird and discussed freedom with the students. Then, s tudents were given a picture of a caged bird, one of the symbols of freedom, and were given the opportunity to color freely. Finally, students watched a video about making paper airplanes. After that, following the necessary instructions, they made their planes out of colored paper and flew them freely at school, internalizing the value of freedom. (Fatih Primary School, Ece ERGÜRTUNA)
